Scope and ContentCork Civic Survey, published 1925, specifies the Cork Town Planning Association intended the entire survey material to be handed to Commissioner Monahan (Cork Corporation) upon completion. The Cork Corporation Law and Finance Committee Minutes, record the corporation's decision to purchase the 'original maps' from Cork Town Planning Association on 24 Nov 1926.
1) Series of original diagram maps of Cork city, prepared for the purpose of producing the Cork Civic Survey, published 1925. The contents relate to survey work undertaken c.1922-24, recording statistical information in respect of population, industry, transport, recreation, and all other matters of town planning interest.
2) The printed publication, Cork Civic Survey, contains black and white reproductions of the diagram maps with accompanying text, including an introduction to the Cork Town Planning Association.
