Also present is an 1843 lease of the old French Church itself to the Primitive Wesleyan Methodist Society [SM50/11]. Several deeds include sketch maps, and most describe neighbouring holdings.They shed much light on the changing occupancy and use of buildings in the heart of the city in the late 18th and 19th centuries.
