Scóp agus InneacharOld Church cemetery records created by the Town Council. Includes registers of burials (1879-1975), applications for burial licences (1880), grants or purchases of burial plots (1879-1919), and files relating to the management of the cemetery (c.1879-1931). The town council was responsible for managing the cemetery adjacent to the church ruins and the section immediately to the west of the church opened in 1879.
The registers from Old Church show the cemetery was used as a burial ground for persons last resident in a geographic area including: Cobh (Queenstown), Whitepoint, Rushbrook(e), Spike Island, Haulbowline, and the Military Barracks.
