Scóp agus InneacharAccount of each ship or vessel registered in Irish Ports (copy of document National Archives London). Listed by port; gives year and number of the registry certificate, names of ships and vessels registered, distinguishing those no longer in service etc., tonnage, whether employed in foreign, coast or fishing trade, number of men and boys employed, whether absent or unemployed for year ending 30 Sept 1796 and supposed reason. Ports include Baltimore, Cork, Coleraine, Dublin, Belfast, Galway, Waterford, Newry, Wicklow, Youghal, Wexford, Kinsale, Killybegs, Limerick, Drogheda etc. Includes abstract giving total figures of tonnage and men employed in each port and abstract of ships lost or destroyed or unfit for service between 1795 and 1796.
