Scóp agus InneacharDeed, in Latin, of Elizabeth I [1565], relating to lands in Cork, including Ringaskiddy ('Skiddiespoint alias RingSkiddie' and 'Glandrought'], the property of the Skiddy family. The document refers to [John] and Stephen Skiddy, the sons of [Alderman Richard] Skiddy. Reference is also made to Robert Dillon of Dublin and William Talbot [attorney]. A partially legible note on the reverse refers to 'all the lands and [hereditaments] of RynnySkiddy', and is followed by the signature of John Skiddy Fitz Richard. Other signatories [witnesses] are [Edmond] Goold, John Cronyn, and Dominic Miagh.
