1. 16 Nov 1841-19 Jun 1860. (Some fading/water damage) (c100pp)
Includes (for example):
(2 Oct 1848) Meeting of vestry, recounts difficulties in getting a site for the Church and designs for same. In 1842 an application was made to 'Lord Middleton' for a site, which was afterwards deemed unsuitable, later Mr. Smith Barry provided a site, which was withdrawn. Complains of delays due to 'private interests and unprincipled [?Law/Land] Agents and Architects'.
(24 Mar 1851) Resolved that Dr. Millet ascertain from Mr Reeves if he would grant a site for a church on Spy Hill Queenstown....and also to know from Mr. Scott if he would sell a site.
(8 Sep 1851) Messrs. Scotts terms of lease to be accepted.
(15 Oct 1853) Site on Miss Rushbrooke's property be accepted.
(May 1854) Thanks to Miss McMullen for her voluntary contribution toward paying off the debt of the church. Resolved that Mr Hill be the contractor for the building of the church according to his plans and specifications.
