Etendue et contenuOrdnance Survey map of County Cork (stamped 'Poor Law Commission'). Shows areas and boundaries of civil parishes, baronies, towns, market towns, villages, big houses, churches . Other features are indicated, such as roadways, bridges, and railways. With reference table 'Index to the Townland Survey of the County of Cork' listing total acreage in each parish and totals for each barony. There is also an inset showing the Parliamentary Borough of Cork 'the ancient County of the City', and the municipal borough, and small insets of the parliamentary boroughs of Bandon, Youghal, Mallow, and Kinsale. Scale one inch to one mile. Engraved 1845. The sixteen squares forming the map are attached to a linen backing. The map is folded.
