Scope and ContentContains names of applicants for the licence to bury persons in the oldest section of the Old Church graveyard immediately adjacent to the church ruins, closed to burials in 1879. Information recorded includes the size of the grave, list of names or number of persons intended for burial within the plot, the date of the last known burial in the same plot prior to Aug 1880, the address of the applicant, and the minute as to whether the licence should be approved. Does not form a comprehensive record of burials in the graveyard.
