Scope and ContentTwo original membership certificates of Patrick O'Mahony, 10 Coley's Lane, off Old Market Place, Cork.
1) Cork '98 (1798 Rebellion) Centenary Association, with drawings of Wolfe Tone, 'Founder of the Society of United Irishmen', various flags including those of the Irish Volunteers, France and the USA, pikes, cannon, etc. 1 Jan 1898.
2) Wolfe Tone and Ninety Eight Memorial Association, signed by John O'Leary, President. With drawings of Frence troops landing at Killala, Voluneer troops, weapons and flags. 1 Jan 1898
Both items are on paper with coloured ink mounted on card.
