Scope and ContentCopy of MS. letter to 'A Chara' from Lord Mayor Terence MacSwiney, Lord Mayors Rooms, City Hall, Cork. Notifies recipient of the recently inaugurated MacCurtain Memorial Fund, to provide for the family of the late Lord Mayor, Tomás MacCurtain. Notes that, while generous support has been received from outside Cork county, the direct appeal for the fund is being confined to '...our own City and County, as we feel the obligation is specially ours and that it lies on us primarily to discharge it...' The General Committee invites co-operation and asks for a local meeting of repesentative men to organise support for the fund in the district.
