Form und InhaltLetter from Tom Barry, 64 St. Patrick's Street, Cork, to Jack McCarthy, NORAID, United States. Regrets that he will not be able to come to New York as invited for the annual Easter Commemoration ceremonies owning to ill health. Refers to an attached letter he sent (possibly SM701/2) concerning the formation of a committee to assist the Six County Republicans. Describes how the Boland-Blaney wing of Fianna Fail came to contol the committee. He guesses that this committee will split from Fianna Fail and states that 'They are not making me at any rate a party to any political truck'. Notes that there have been no great change in the Six Counties, with further splits and no hope for unity. Sends regards to 'any of my old friends you may meet amongst the I.R.A. veterans'.
