Scope and Content11. 18 Jan 1851 Letter from 'THH Esq', Sidney Place, to 'My dear ?John', Watercourse, 'After what has occured between us it seems to me quite impossible that we can ever work together unless a perfect understanding exists between us - which at present I regret to say does not', suggests terms for partnership (see item 12) (2pp)
12. Jan 1851 Covenants for company partnership deed and proposed arrangements, working capital of £20,000. 'The Concern is divided into one eight shares. Of these 3/8 belong to Thomas H Hewitt and 3/8 to T.Hewitt likewise 2/8 to Reps of Isaac Hewitt (deceased)'; (5pp)

14. 11 Oct 1852 Letter from [William] Lane, Cork, to Messrs. Thomas and Henry Hewitt and Co., Watercourse Distillery, Cork, concerning George Dennis Estate. Undertaking regarding securities. (1p)
15. 18 Mar 1861 Letter from Jamesons & Robertson, Marrowbone Lane Distillery, Dublin to 'Dear Sir', Thomas Hewitt Esq., refers to two petitions and that 'many of the Irish Members would be absent' until after Easter. (1p)
16. 21 Mar 1861 Letter from Jamesons & Robertson, Marrowbone Lane Distillery, Dublin to Messrs Hewitt & Co. They have received the note and copies of the Petition, meeting of Irish Members in Dublin advised before their return to Parliament. (1p)

20. nd [?1860s] Robert Cassidy, Cassidy's Distillery, Monasterevin, to Thomas Hewitt Esq. Hopes Hewitt will meet the Dublin traders in London. He met a few MPs in Dublin who promised co-operation. (3pp)
