Scope and ContentConveyance of Smith Barry Estate in Fota Island/ Great Island, County Cork.
Parties: 1) Vendor; Robert Smith Barry of Conock Manor Devizes Wilshire Esq. ; 2) Purchaser; The Honourable Dorothy Elizabeth Bell, wife of William Bertram Bell of Fota Cobh Co. Cork, a Major in His Majesty's Army and 3) 'The Company', Smith Barry Estates, an umlimited company registered in Ireland.
Properties: Lands hereditaments and premises listed in Schedule 1 and 2, originally listed in the will and codicil of James Hugh Smith Barry in 1849 and 1854, situate in the Counties of Cork and Tipperary deliniated in several maps (annexed) ; and also rights over parts of the lands of Belvelly vested in the Irish Land Commission in 1931. Excepting lands coloured green and marked 'excluded' on the maps. And portions of the lands of College Land, etc.
Price: 31,000 Pounds
Conditions: The Vendor on direction of Purchaser does grant and assign unto The Company all sums of land bonds set forth in the third column of the 2nd schedule, etc.
Annexed are 17 maps (ordnance survey, mostly 6 inch 1906 editions) with properties marked in red ink.
