Scope and ContentExtremely fragile, damaged. Draft indenture concerning proposed sale of Barrymore estates to cover debts owed by Richard, 7th Earl of Barrymore (1769-1793). Indenture places property in trust to bankers William Morland and Thomas Hammersley of Pall Mall, London, England, and concerns value of property at £10,000. Includes reference to a large number of holdings at or near Castlelyons, Lisgoold, Midleton and Carrigtohill (Carrigtwohill) in the barony of Barrymore. No map or detailed information on these holdings is present. Property names or places referred to includes, in order of mention, the manor of Castle Lyons (Castlelyons), Loughnashillady, Knocknamouragh, Ballyarramore, Ballyarrabeg (Ballyarra), Kill St. Ann (Kill Saint Anne), Bells Holding, Sampson's Land the Warren, Knoppoge, East Old Court (Oldcourt East) part of Coolknedane, the manor of the Barrys otherwise Carrigtouhill (Carrigtohill or Carrigtwohill), Anns Grove, Longstown, Lycetstown otherwise Licettstown, Tybottstown (Tibbotstown), Ballyno (Ballynoe), Woodstock, Ballyleary, Lackenbehy Forest, Ballyadam, Ballyspillane, Gortnamucky, Carricktouhill (Carrigtohill or Carrigtwohill), Belvelly, Clonmult, Coolyquaine (Coolquane), Ballymurphy, Grange, Francistown, Robertstown, and North Oldcourt amongst others.
