Scope and ContentCosts for maintenance of 'Deserted Children', include 15 presentments to the Grand Jury for the spring assizes of 1865 with the baronies of Carbery and West Muskery particularly represented. Support for the children was levied on the parish, with sums awarded by the jury quoted in each presentment. Names of the deserted children are not quoted, however, names of the claimants feature. [section II, p.287]. The volume also includres requests for maintenance moneys for children at Dublin Protestant Reformatory Schools and St Joseph's Reformatory School, Limerick.
