Scope and ContentSM864/1 Letter from Stan Laurel, Olympia Theatre, Dublin, 3 Jun 1952, to Patrick J Doyle, 55, Patrick Street, Cork, thanking him for his letter of 1 June. He explains that his brother Ted died in 1933. He adds that another friend of Ted's, John Kavanagh of the Ormonde Cinema in Gorey, came to see him last week. He notes 'this is my first visit to Ireland & am enjoying it immensely'. The letter is on headed paper, Laurel and Hardy Feature Productions, 511 Pacific Mutual Building, Los Angeles, California. The text is typed, signed by Laurel. On light air mail paper, with tears and folds.
