Scope and ContentAlbum of photographs by Geoffrey Farrar, all taken at Cork airport, and some showing the airport (including one from its opening on 16 Oct 1961), but mainly consisting of pictures of planes and other aircraft at the airport. Photos are pasted in and are captioned by Farrar, with aircraft type, carrier, route, and date usually recorded. The album may be of particular interested to those interested in airplanes and aviation history. It provides an important record of routes serviced, changing carriers and liveries, interesting charter and visiting aircraft, as well as airplane types.
