Scope and ContentEnfeoffment of property next to the mill in the burgage of Shandon made in the presence of William, alderman. The parties to this deed are Edmond White, citizen of Waterford, Henry Mordon (Morton) and John [Burden, Brydon], burghers. Possession is transferred from Morton to [Brydon]. The previous title of White is discussed, it does not say who is the ultimate owner of this property, part of which comprises a meadow. This property partly lies between a castle and a toft. The waters of the Lee towards the south are mentioned. The honourable deed was witnessed by William Skiddy and others. Deed produced for legal purposes and made in the reign of ‘our Lord, the King, Edward IV of England’. Miniscule and partially obscured manuscript in parchment.
