Scope and ContentOrders made by the Cork County Manager, the chief executive officer of Cork County Council. The orders put into effect executive decisions of the county manager (the 'executive functions' of the managers are distinct from the 'reserved functions' of the Council of elected councillors, but in practice they work together closely). The County Manager is assisted by assistant county managers, with devolved responsibilities for the North, South, and West divisions. The present series consists of orders of the County Manager, although assistant county manager's orders for North and South Cork are also held at CCCA. There are some gaps in the present series (volumes not present): CC/CO/MO/20 (1963), CC/CO/MO/31-32 (1972), CC/CO/MO/72-77 (1983)*, CC/CO/MO/126-33 (1995, 1996), CC/CO/MO/132- 142 (Jan-Sep 1997), CC/CO/MO/138 (Jan-Mar 1998). *Added on 26 Jan 2012.
