Scope and ContentSeries of records of the Planning Policy Unit, Planning Department, Cork County Council, relating to the management of national monuments. The records consist of reference surveys, maps, and copy plans. These include the following: CC/PL/PPU/NM1: surveys of the monuments in County Cork by the Archaeological Survey of Ireland and Duchas the Heritage Service, with accompanying sets of OS maps (1990s); Geological Survey of Ireland Cork maps, scale: 1 inch to 1 mile (1858); Ordnance Survey Cork maps, scale: 1 inch to 1 mile (1910-11); OS Characteristic Sheet [c1945]; OS Cork maps, scale half inch to 1 mile, showing rural districts and electoral districts (1964). CC/PL/PPU/NM2: Copy plans of Ballincollig Barracks (1828, 1900-1905, 1920-29). CC/PL/PPU/NM3: Copy lease (1850), copy plans (1937-1970s), and tracings (1992) of Camden Fort, Crosshaven, Co Cork
