Scope and Content'Copy of notebook in Christ Church' containing minutes Apr 1850 - May 1855 of a Schools and Alms House Committee, and other entries. The committee was appointed on 18 Apr 1850 to consider 'the state of the alms houses & school houses of the parish'. It was decided that the existing alms house and school house building be levelled and a new building provided. The meeting of 12 Jan 1855 records that sums paid to the contractor amounted to £1566 3 10, with £89 0s 6d outstanding. Also present is a list of services, meetings and lectures held in Christ Church Parochial School Room from Easter, 14 Apr 1879 (to December 1881). The final pages contain a note of books lent (single entry, 1885), accounts (three entries, 1850), and note of confirmations (three entries, 1859).
