Scope and ContentRental and particulars of sale of Castlehyde Estate, Fermoy, to be sold 5 Dec 1851 by the Commissioners for the Sale of Incumbered Estates in Ireland. The sale comprises the 'first division of the estates of John Hyde, Esq', and includes the manor, town and lands of Castlehyde, and other lands in County Cork, the lands of Clocasta and Tulla in County Limerick, lands of Farthagh in County Kilkenny, and lands of Knockanglesey in County Tipperary. The sale is divided into 34 lots, the description for each of which includes names of lands (denominations), tenants' names, and terms of lease, and other descriptive detail. The rental is printed, and includes maps of lands in each lot, and a sketch of Castlehyde House. Solicitors Samuel S and Edward Reeves, Dublin, have carriage of the sale. Published/Printed by Hodges and Smith, Dublin, 1851. 2 copies.
