Scope and Content'Petition on behalf of the Trades of the City of Cork to the Right Worshipful P. J. Madden, Mayor of Cork'. Requests a public meeting with the executive council of the Irish Artisans' Exhibition in Dublin to enlist the support of the citizens and industrial classes of Cork and vicinity. Signed by leading officials of various trade unions including the United Trades Council, Bakers Society, Bootmakers, Carpenters Society, Cork Branch of the Amalgamated Society of Tailors, Corkcutter Society, Cork Operative Society of Masons, Typographical Society, House Painters, Coachmakers Society, Plasterers, Coopers, Farriers, Millers, Iron Moulders, Stone Cutters. Note by Mayor Madden agreeing to convene a public meeting at the Assembly Rooms, South Mall on 18th March. Also a photocopy of the above.
