Lease, 15 June 1784, Parties: James Bernard Esquire, Castlebernard, County Cork and Robert Warren Esquire, Crookstown, County Cork; Property: Part of Clowdaw/Cloughdagh, Barony of Muskerry, lately held by Dennis Mahony and his partners, with a small piece of John Riordan’s land containing 158 acres, 1 rood and 25 perches, also a small piece of land lately held by Michael Cox, and that part of Clowdaw/Coughdagh known as Anthony’s field and Doves Acre, lately in the possession of John Austen. Total 163 acres, 3 roods and 33 perches.Terms & Conditions: 999 years at yearly rent of £122.19s.4d Sterling. Size: 1 skin. Other: includes map of property.

Lease, 20 April 1784: parties: James Bernard Esquire, Castebernard, to Joseph Wakeham Esquire, Springhill, County Cork; property: Part of the town and lands of Ballycurreen, Barony of Barrymore, County Cork, lately held by James O’Hea, gentleman, containing 172 acres 2 perches; terms & conditions: For the natural lives of William Barter Wakeham aged 7 years, Elizabeth Wakeham aged 4 years, and Susanna Wakeham aged 2 years, and their survivors and others who may be added persuant to the covenant for renewal at yearly rent of £103.4s. Size: 1 skin. Other: includes map of lands surveyed by Thomas Power.
