Scope and ContentLease, dated 1 June 1770, between David Deane, Cork (1st part) and Joseph Lysaght, Revenue Collector, Port of Cork (2nd part), of piece of ground containing three ruinous houses on Custom House Quay, to be held in trust for His Majesty the King and his successors, for a term of 500 years, at an annual rent of £52. A sketch of the property is attached. A note on the reverse states that the deed was referred to in an affidavit of 31 Jan 1881, in the matter of Cagney v Royal Cork Institution.
