Scope and ContentOne photograph and seven post cards showing scenes of Cork city, three of which have writing on them.
SM102/1 Black and white photograph of Patrick's St, Cork, with caption added 'Cork in 193[8], The New Patrick Street', and notes pointing to two buildings, reading 'Newsom's now Woolworths, 80/- Tailors Marlboro St in between'. Used as a postcard and addressed to Arthur S Wood, 36 [Farnealy] Road, Shortlands, Bromley, Kent. The message, initialled not signed, begins 'For Old Acquaintance Sake'. Post marked London, 14

[K.W.?], 'at Burren House, Kilbrittain, Co Cork'. Postmarked Bandon 16 June 1959. The message exhorts 'you should visit Cork from which your fathers came'.
