Scope and ContentCork Corporation Town Clerk's file on Reconstruction of premises destroyed or damaged in the burning of Cork in December 1920. The file contains correspondence and papers of the Corporation's Reconstruction Committee, letters and forms from Dail Eireann, letters and applications from shop owners and residents of premises destroyed or damaged in the fire, some sketch plans of city centre reconstructions, and related items. Also placed on the file are completed applications 'by an "unemployed" person for an allotment', under a 1934 Act.
