Scope and ContentRoll book showing names of aldermen and councillors listed by ward/electoral area and their attendance at Council meetings and committee meetings. Areas includ North East, North West No. 1 and North West No. 2, North West No. 3, Centre, South No.1, South No. 2. The book contains some notes regarding councillor numbers, noting that there were 56 aldermen or councillors in 1920 and 21 in March 1929. There are fewer electoral wards from 1929. Local elections were held in 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1942 and 1945. (Note: the Council was abolished from 30 October 1924 to March 1929). Also, enclosure comprising a list of members of Council in 1942-1945.
